Peter Randall is the Chief Executive of Chi-X Europe Limited. Peter started his career as an analyst and was named a leading analyst by Euromoney when he was at James Capel. He spent an extended time in Asia with the joint venture between Sanford Bernstein and James Capel where he was responsible for quantitative sales, after this he became the MD of Thamesway and latterly CEO of Instinet in Asia.
After leaving Hong Kong in 1997, Peter established and ran PRAUK which offered consultancy services to participants in the electronic trading industry, his last consulting assignment was as Executive Director of FPL which owns and controls the FIX Protocol. Peter rejoined Instinet in 2005 and was responsible for delivering the MiFID compliant Chi-X platform.
Peter has served on a number of regulatory committees and was educated at the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford.
